Plaid Connector

What It Does

• Admin Settings Page — Checkbox grid grouped by use case (Verification, Financial Data, Mortgage & Income). Toggle which Plaid products your users can access. Only enabled products show up in the bank connection flow.
• Plaid Link Widget — Users click "Connect Your Bank" and Plaid's battle-tested widget handles bank selection, credential entry, and MFA. You don't build any of that UI.
• Automatic Token Management — The packet handles link token creation, public-to-private token exchange, and secure storage of access tokens. All server-side, all automatic.
• Data Retrieval — One backend function (getPlaidData) fetches whatever you need: balances, identity, transactions, assets, investment holdings, or loan/liability details.

Setup

1. Install the packet into your app
2. Create a free Plaid developer account at dashboard.plaid.com
3. Add your credentials as app secrets: PLAID_CLIENT_ID, PLAID_SECRET, PLAID_ENV
4. Open the Plaid Settings page (admin-only), check the products you want, and save
5. Drop the PlaidLinkButton component onto any page where users need to connect their bank

Notes
